The foundation of my work with individuals is establishing a trusting, authentic therapeutic relationship shaped by secure attachment, non-judgment and empathy. This becomes the relational container from which we work together to identify present and emergent issues, and goals for therapy. Areas of practice include: complex trauma, anxiety, depression, co-dependency, self-worth/esteem, social marginalization, racial/bi-racial identity development, parenting, stress and overwhelm with life transitions, relationship challenges, blocks and feeling stuck, and spiritual exploration/awakening.

The foundation of my work with partners is supporting you to get unstuck from painful dynamics that keep getting repeated, and prevent you from relating to each other in supportive and enriching ways. Therapeutic interventions support you in getting to the root of the issues and set goals for moving forward. Areas of practice include: communication challenges, interracial couples, differences in parenting styles, infidelity, and intimacy difficulties. I also work with new couples who want to proactively shore up their union.

Reiki is an energy healing technique developed by Mikao Usui. Emerging from the Buddhist tradition, Reiki is derived from the works rei, meaning “universal”, and ki, which refers to the vital life force energy that flows through all living beings. Reiki treatments involve the transmission of healing energy to the body that supports your body’s innate balance and healing mechanisms. Sessions involve gentle touch, with recipients fully clothed. Reiki treatments promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and support nervous system regulation, and can be used in conjunction with traditional therapy.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
You have the right to receive your Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
